About Us
Owner/Founder
Founder and creator Daniel Mckelvey grew up on his Uncle's small dairy and produce farm in Hannibal, NY, known as Fowler Farms. After spending 12 years in the Casino Industry and moving both west and back to the east coast, Dan took a leap of faith in 2014 to start his first juice bar and acai bowl business, PURE RAW JUICE, while living in Baltimore. After two successful PRJ locations, he sold them in 2017 to move to Delaware, where he established his second venture, DAILY VEG. This brand, known for serving 100% Vegan Comfort Food, specializes in Vegan Burgers and Acai Bowls, and Dan successfully franchised and sold it. Now, after 17 years away, Dan has returned to Central New York to share his passion for food with something truly unique called Whacko Gringo in Oswego, NY.
